Aris is close to signing 22-year-old Honduran midfielder Edwin Rodriguez, who plays for Deportivo Olimpia. The two sides have agreed on a loan deal but the Yellows are struggling to land him on a regular transfer.

After Peter Etebo, Ares moves up with another transfer as he is set to land 22-year-old Honduran midfielder Edwin Rodriguez from Deportivo Olímpia (Honduras team).

Aris has been linked with the Honduras side over a loan and an option to buy but he has submitted a €1m proposal to acquire him for a regular transfer and is awaiting a response from Olympia.

The small national player (1.64 m) has played a total of 125 times for the Olympics, scoring 13 goals. He is an international player for the Honduran men’s national team, has played 20 games and scored one goal. He has already made six appearances this year, with two goals and one assist.

The Yellow managers believe they have found a jewel in the family of Luis Palma, who has played superbly for the Yellows so far, and is one of the driving forces behind the Mars attack.
