Lysandros at OFI training: “Let’s prove that we are smart and winners”
PAE OFI General Manager Minas Lysandrou was at the training session and spoke to the players about the team’s humble start but also about the continuation of the championship.
OFI enters a new period after the departure of Yiannis and Giorgos Samaras. The Cretans’ modest start to the league caused a stir as the team’s CEO, Minas Lysandros, attended training and spoke to the players on Tuesday (13/09).
First, the coach, Nikos Nioplias, introduced the new member of the technical team, Mr. Nikos Koundourakis, while then Mr. Lysandrou entered the dressing room and said to the players, among other things:
“I’m sure we can all agree that we’re not happy with the start we’ve made. But we have to regroup immediately. We trust you and we believe we are one of the best teams in the league. We truly believe that and may you continue to believe that.
It’s time for everyone to focus, think positive and work even harder. On and off the pitch. Don’t forget something important: “Wise people find solutions while fools look for excuses”. It is the moment to prove to ourselves first, but also to others that we are smart and winners.”
From then on, Nikos Marinakis begins to experience discomfort in his right leg at competition level and will undergo tests to determine the extent of the problem while Yiannis Bouzoukis was treated. On the plus side was the fact that Meyado and Durmisai presented an improved image and followed most of the program.
