Lamia: “Let referees referee our games outside of Greece”
Lamia issued a game against the referee and demanded that his games be refereed only by referees outside of Greece.
Lamia was defeated 1-0 by PAOK in Toumba on Sunday. A day later he issued a statement against refereeing and demanded that matches be refereed by foreign referees.
Lamia’s announcement in detail:
“1. Matchday LAMIA – AEK (referee Koutsiavtis)
– Clear counterattacks from Slivka by Simanski in front of Kutsiavtis, who doesn’t attribute the offence.
Matchday 2 PAS GIANNINA – LAMIA (Referee Tsakalides – VAR: Sidiropoulos)
3′ Kornezos clean tackle, Tsakalides misses a penalty that wasn’t there.
43′ Prior’s penalty violation against Tsiloulis turns into a foul and a yellow card for Drama for our player.
52′ Our team’s goal is disallowed for a non-existent offensive foul, with the referee constantly changing his mind about the offender and trying to justify his decision.
Matchday 4 PAOK – LAMIA (Referee Tsagarakis – VAR: Koumbarakis)
23′ Illegal mark by Vierinias on the head of Manousos, penalty that is not attributed.
46′ A clear foul in favor of Manousos becomes a theater ticket for our footballer.
From the 70th minute a protective wall was put up across the field, which followed in the final minutes where referee Tsagarakis penalized our team, bypassing the normal playing time and the delay that actually occurred.
The highlight came when Boakye was not sent off in the 95th minute, daring to win the ball and equalizing with serious but not dangerous play.
Unfortunately, Mr. Greek Arbitrator, the yialos is not crooked, but we harmonize it wrong!
As an equal member of the Super League Cooperative, we now require that only referees from outside Greece referee our games.
The Greek referees are currently not showing the necessary courage and determination to support both the long-suffering Greek refereeing and the project of professional refereeing and to eliminate the pathologies of Greek football”.
