Olympiacos are poised to set off a new transfer ‘bombshell’ with their takeover James Rodriguez. The Red and Whites say they are in advanced negotiations with Al Rayyan and the Colombian footballer and want to reach an agreement within the next few hours.
The talks concern the loan of the 31-year-old midfielder, who has been pushing for a return to Europe for the past two weeks. The former Real Madrid ace and teammate in Spain’s team with Marcelo earns €6,000,000 a year at Al Rayyan.
According to information, Olympiacos will cover part of Rodriguez’s contract and Al Rayyan will cover the rest.
It is reminded that the transfer period in Greece for players belonging to teams ends on September 15th. Consequently, developments must be immediate.
