Lokomotiva announced the sale of Tsokai to Panathinaikos
Enis Csokai already wears the shirt with the trefoil on his chest, while Lokomotiva Zagreb announced its sale to Panathinaikos via its website on Thursday evening (15/9).
Panathinaikos management chased the new additions to the team’s squad until the twelfth hour of the transfer, achieving their goal Enis Chokai to get on their radar and close the deal on Thursday evening (9/15).
The Greens started negotiations with Lokomotiv Zagreb to sign him and they had a happy ending as the Croatians announced the sale of the 23-year-old Albanian defensive midfielder.
According to Lokomotiva publications, Panathinaikos transfer costs will exceed €1m with the player expected in Athens on Friday to undergo medical checks.
It is noted that the two-time capped international started his professional career in 2018 with the Croatian side while he was loaned out to Latsi for half a season in 2019.
The ‘Greens’ had previously tried to win over Čokai’s teammate Lindon Selahi in the Albania national team, but his case didn’t have a happy ending.
