PAE Volos issued a statement commenting on the Super League placement at the expense of AEK without informing the members of the coop.

The announcement of PAE Volos

“For the umpteenth time in recent memory, we have come to the extremely uncomfortable realization that the Super League is now being administered with an authoritarian and proprietary approach, and indeed the worst form of a personal shop.

Therefore, in the face of all the ridiculous events that are happening that degrade Greek football even more, we feel it is our duty to react and take a clear and manly stand, and certainly not with what some people call ‘legitimate’ “and therefore we request immediately the convening of an Extraordinary Board of Directors of the Super League. We point out that PAE Volos has already requested the convening of the Board of Directors. with their letters of 2/9/22 and 7/9/22, letters which were not only ignored but not even answered.

When today’s seemingly personal announcement by the President speaks of the independence of the League, things take an extremely dangerous turn as some seem to be dreaming of Ludovico or Amin Dada type forces!

We urge the current Super League leadership to reflect on their enormous responsibility towards football itself and to stop such provocative and unacceptable actions that humiliate and humiliate it.

And in case he fails to see the damage he is doing, we call on the other members of the club to finally react responsibly, seriously and decisively to stop the downward spiral and save the prestige and dignity of football to us.

Finally, we would like to emphasize that we are by no means in favor of one or the other of the so-called Big 4. We just rebel because football doesn’t belong to anyone. After all, we all have a duty to face the situation.”
