Close to Cedric Bakabou for leading the attack, Olympiacos
Olympiacos appear hyperactive in the final of the transfer window, with a French publication revealing that Marseille’s French striker Cedric Bakabou is expected to sign a contract with the Greek champions.
The big name linked to Olympiacos since Wednesday afternoon is that of James Rodríguez, but that doesn’t stop the Reds and Whites from ‘beating’ other targets and one of them could be in Marseille.
The reason for this is Cedric Bakabou, who revealed in a publication of “Provence” that the 31-year-old forward from Marseille will not continue his career with “Velotron” and is preparing to wear the red and white on behalf of the Greek champions.
“The transfer window in Greece closes on Thursday September 15 and it is very likely that Marseille will sack another player.
This is Cedric Bakabou, who according to our information is expected to sign for Olympiakos in the next few hours.
Arriving in Marseille in January 2022, the Congolese striker failed to win the trust of either Sampaoli or Tudor and was not included in the European squad that season.
He will be released and will sign as a free agent at Olympiakos.”reports the relevant publication.
