Olympiakos brings Bakabou and Kasami, also wants a cutter on the last transfer day
Olympiakos’ transfer accrual continues after trying to complete the transfers of Bakabou and Kasami while looking to acquire six in the final day of transfers.
At a time when Olympiacos is all about James Rodríguez’ line-up, the management of the Red and Whites isn’t stopping their transfer frenzy here.
What does that mean; How the Red and Whites can take on three other footballers in addition to the Colombian by the end of the transfer period.
Bakabu is coming on Thursday
At the same time, the red-whites are pushing ahead with another case, that of Cedric Bakabu. The veteran centre-forward and winger, who played for Marseille, is set to join the Reds on a free transfer, according to the French, although his contract was due to expire in the summer of 2024.
Bakabu primarily competes at the front of the attack, while he has also played on the left side of the attack at times.
He started his career in Sossos academies and reached their first team. In the summer of 2014, Bursaspor bought him for €1.8m and a year later sold him to Villarreal for €7.5m.
He stayed there for 2.5 years when Beijing paid Guoan 40 million euros to bring him to Beijing. He played in China until January 2022 when Marseille took him there where he will not continue as everything shows his career.
He played until the France U20s and then chose the Gongo national team, with whom he has 40 appearances and 13 goals. At the same time, at the collective level, he has 363 appearances, 151 goals and 38 assists.
Last year in Marseille he played in 24 games in six months and had four goals and two assists.
Kasami signs for two years
The second to close, according to information, is Paitim Kasami, who has been in our country since last Sunday and was awaiting Olympiakos’ decision on his return to the Piraeus team.
As everything shows, the 30-year-old Swiss midfielder will return to familiar places to add another solution to the midfield. After all, he’s a player they know well at Olympiakos from his time with the Red-Whites (2014-2016). The Swiss is expected to sign a two-year deal.
He also wants 6 as part of Bakayoko and Milivojevic
These are the two moves, in addition to James Rodríguez’s, that the Reds and Whites want to complete. But the red and whites don’t stop there.
At the same time, Olympiacos move up to closing course 6 on Thursday (15/9), keeping an eye on the difficult cases of Bakayoko and Milivojevic, while also having contacts with another player.
And in the next twenty-four hours, it’s possible that there will be another addition. In view of the fact that there are many players at Rentis, concessions can be expected from the footballers.
