Last January, former Panathinaikos full-back Ousmane Couliblay suffered a heart attack in Al Wakrah’s game against Al Rayyan for the Qatar league.
Then, alongside the medical staff who saved him by resuscitating him, James Rodríguez (who is on the verge of signing for Olympiakos) also played a key role, who quickly realized something was wrong with Koulibaly.
According to beIN Sports, the Colombian midfielder was one of the first to realize something was wrong with Koulibaly and pounced on him. Rodríguez grabbed Koulibaly’s head and placed it so that he could breathe, reports the medium, which has the rights to broadcast the league on Twitter.
