Apart from the manager’s question, Olympiacos are also keen to solve their transfer problems. During the week he announces Kasami while Paschalakis follows.

Olympiacos were defeated 2-1 by Aris, a result that saw the Reds and Whites develop at a rapid pace with Carlos Corberan a thing of the past. At the same time, the Red and Whites want to get their transfer issues under control with the coaching question.

As of Monday, Olympiacos will announce Paytim Kasami as there is a verbal agreement with the Switzerland international for his return.

This is his second spell at Piraeus, having previously played for the Red and Whites for two years (2014/16) while on a year’s loan at Nottingham Forest. He has made 66 appearances with Piraeus, scoring nine goals and providing nine assists.

Last season he made 46 appearances for Basel in all competitions, scoring six goals and providing six assists. He also played for Sion, Fulham, Palermo, Lucerne and Bellinzona.

Paschalakis is also running

At the same time, Olympiacos is also strengthening in the goalkeeper position. Alexandros Paschalakis is about to close within the week.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper was released by PAOK. He has competed in the Thessaloniki team since 2017 and has made 179 appearances in all competitions.

He has also defended the home sides of PAS Ioannina (27 games) and Panthrakikos (18 games), while also making an appearance in Levadeiakou’s jersey.

Paschalakis started at AEK academies while he was at Olympiakos from 2003-2005. It won’t be the first time he’s found himself in the red and white when the deal finally goes through.
