Brumbetz: “Every win whets the appetite, I hope we have a better picture when we come back”
Jakub Brambetz notes that after every win, the appetite for big things grows, but Aris needs to improve to continue.
Speaking to NOVA after Aris’ win against Olympiakos, Jakub Brambetz in his statements emphasized that every win the team achieves gives them an appetite, but they need to look at each game individually and also improve in order to continue.
In detail what Jakub Brambets said about NOVA: About the game: “We play at the same pace throughout the game. He came at us in the second half with two goals. Olympiacos didn’t threaten us. We put the result in our favor and got the win,” noted the Czech stopper for tonight’s game“.
For the team that shows mental reserves when falling behind in the standings: “That’s what our new coach has been asking us ever since he arrived. Play with soul and give everything. There is a lot we need to improve. The Nationals break gives us an opportunity to work. Hopefully when we come back to the league we’ll have a better picture.“
Whether he thinks this year’s team line-up is better than last year’s: “I don’t want to compare that. We are still at the beginning. It’s the 5th game. We’ll see at the end of the year depending on what we achieve. I hear that from everywhere, we can dream but we have to prove it every week. It doesn’t matter the CV and what is written about the team. We can do it, but it depends on the pitch.“
Does this win whet the appetite of the team?: “Every win whets the appetite and we need to be hungry for victory all year round, game after game. Defeats will come and we have to react.”
