Alves for Opap Arena: “This is our home, our fortress”
AEK prepare to enter their home and everyone in the yellow and black camp is counting down, with Bruno Alves heading to the Opap Arena and broadcasting a special message ahead of their premiere there against Ionikos.
October 3, 2022 is the date that all AEK fans have “bookmarked” since then Matias Almeida’s team meets Ionikos (for Super League matchday 6) to inaugurate their new home, the Opap Arena .
Anticipation and excitement are understandably great when Union sports director Bruno Alves is on the pitch and sends a special message to the world of yellow and black via his personal Instagram account:
“The time comes. This will be our home, our stronghold, where we want to create great memories and continue to celebrate achievements. Let’s all make it happen as one family, as AEK.” he wrote characteristically.
