Tausianis departs from Levadeiakos, Velits is next door
Yannis Tausianis is not on the Levadeako bench after five Super League games, with Yasmiko Velits the first favorite to replace him.
We will have another departure of a coach from a Super League team in the next few hours as all indications are that Giannis Tausianis will be a thing of the past after five games from Levadeako side.
The Greece coach is set to pay the price for Viotia’s poor start on their return to the big league, while reports expect that with the announcement of the 50-year-old coach’s departure, all that remains is the formalities.
In fact, his successor’s name has already been revealed, with Jasminko Velic about to take over the Viotia team. The Panathinaikos II coach is expected to resign without ever having been on the green bench in an official match, while his contract included a clause allowing him to leave if a proposal came from a higher-tier team from Greece or came abroad.
