Historic day for AEK: the signatures for the OPAP arena were signed
The OPAP Arena region approval issue has been formally closed and AEK can now continue preparations for the opening and first match against Ionikos.
The issue of obtaining the OPAP Arena license has been officially closed as the region’s signatures for the stadium’s temporary operating license have been signed, vindicating the efforts of Dimitris Melissanidis.
A team from the Attica Region and the Fire Service inspected the facilities of the new AEK stadium and gave a positive recommendation for the granting of the permit.
The opening is scheduled for September 30 at 8:30 p.m. During the day, the yellow-black PAE will continue with the procedures for the historic day of the yellow-black (but also for the announcements related to the tickets with Ionikos, which will take place on October 3rd at 20:00). At the opening, Union historical figures as well as Pontiac clubs will “parade” for the rituals taking place at the event to honor the stadium’s “refugee” nature.
Personalities from the international football scene such as Barcelona President Juan Laporta have already admired the architectural masterpiece and enjoyed their tour.
On Friday (23/9), the yellow and black PAE said that tickets for the big event, which will, among other things, honor figures of the past, have been priced at the symbolic price of 21 euros, noting that season holders are aware of the case, queue.
