A sold out OPAP Arena opening night at AEK’s big night on Friday
As expected, more than 30,000 people will attend the opening of AEK’s new stadium in New Philadelphia.
A few hours were enough to sell out the remaining tickets after the season ticket holders had secured priority.
On Friday (September 30) at 8:00 p.m., more than 30,000 AEK fans will be in the stands of the OPAP ARENA to watch the inauguration ceremony of the team’s new stadium in New Philadelphia live.
On Wednesday (September 28th), the corresponding platform was activated at 10 a.m. and it only took three and a half hours for the mega-event in team history to be sold out.
From now on, tickets will only be issued if there are refunds from the “commercial” tickets, i.e. those taken by the sponsors cooperating with AEK.
At the opening, the Union boutique will also be open in its new home for the first time. The new boutique will be located inside the stadium in the main building, which will house the museums and restaurant on the ground floor. Operations begin at 4:00 p.m.
It is recalled that the presenters of the historic opening night of the OPAP Arena will be the actors Antonis Antoniou and Natalia Dragoumis, both of whom have long careers in the artistic field and have even declared themselves supporters of AEK.
Those not among the lucky ones sitting in the stands of the new yellow and black ornament will have the opportunity to follow this special event via the Public Service Television (ERT3) television frequency.
