Narey: “In Greece they are crazy about football”
Narey spoke in his home country about his decision to continue his career with PAOK and emphasized that his previous tuba experience was not comparable to that in Germany
Speaking to his home country’s media, Kalend Narey stated that he felt justified in his decision to continue his career at PAOK last summer.
The German striker said in detail:
On his decision to continue his career at PAOK:
“In football you have very limited time to make the most of a career. I’ve already reached a certain age and my achievements have caught the attention of other clubs. Everyone here is crazy about football. Nothing compares to that , which I’ve experienced in whatever teams I’ve played in Germany. There’s a completely different dynamic at PAOK and in and around the club. Fortuna is of course – also – a big club, but everything is here at PAOK different, I can’t compare the situations.”.
On the way he pushed for a transfer:
“Anyone who knows me knows that abstinence would never have been an option for me. I gave my all every day that I was on the field for Fortuna. I made a request not to play in a timely and transparent manner and therefore there is obviously nothing wrong with me. Nobody can blame me for wanting to leave Fortuna.”
