Levadeiakos completed their transfers by taking over Bacary Sakho, who played at Saint Etienne last season.

After Gianniotas, Levadeiakos made another transfer when he took over Bacary Sakho, who played for Saint Etienne last season. In the past he has gone through teams like Satoru, Wolves, Crystal Palace and West Brom.

The relevant press release states:

“PAE Levadeiakos is pleased to announce the acquisition of footballer Bakari Sakos.

The Malian winger was born on April 26, 1988 and spent the second half of last season at St Etienne, where he made seven Ligue 1 appearances and enjoyed a busy career in the big leagues.

Sacco has played 21 times for his country’s national team and scored 9 goals, while he has also played for France U21 national team where he has played 11 times and scored 2 goals.

He started his career at Satoru (2008-09) and followed three full seasons (2009-12) in the Champions League at Saint-Etienne. He then played with Wolves (2012-15) where he was included in the Championship’s top XI of the year in the 2014-15 season, scoring 15 goals in 41 games.

He then spent three years in the Premier League at Crystal Palace (2015-18), followed by West Brom for the first half of 2018-19 before returning to Crystal Palace to finish the season. In 2019-20 he wore the Paphos shirt in Cyprus.
