In a statement, PAE Panathinaikos expressed concern about the referee’s treatment of the trefoil in recent games, even noting typical phases that were detrimental to the Greens and altered by VAR.
PAE Panathinaikos expressed their concerns about the referees’ treatment of the trefoil in recent games in an announcement on Monday (10/10), noting four characteristic phases in the games with AEK in the same announcement. PAOK and Astera that it was against the Greens and they were substituted via VAR.
In the message, he speaks of “human errors” in crucial phases in which, as he emphasizes, the correct operation of the VAR corrected them.
The relevant announcement states:
“PAE Panathinaikos expresses its concern at the treatment our team is receiving from referees this season.
Especially in the last few games, we are systematically accused of “human errors” in crucial phases. Fortunately, the correct operation of VAR has corrected the omissions so far.
Typical cases are:
1) At AEK, a penalty was awarded in favor of the opposing team instead of offside.
2) At PAOK no penalty was awarded in our favour.
3) We were awarded a non-existent penalty in the same game.
4) A clean penalty kick in our favor with Asteras Tripoli, “baptized” offensive foul”.
