Tension with Lucescu, left the press conference: “Guys, let’s go”
Annoyed by a journalist’s comment, Razvan Loucescu spoke again of “penalty shoot-outs by the Athens teams” and then left Georgios Karaiskakis’ press conference.
The Olympiacos – PAOK derby press conference at Georgios Karaiskakis ended prematurely as Razvan Loucescu walked out after a tension with members of the press.
The Romanian coach was particularly annoyed by a comment about “unsportsmanlike play by his team against a team with players like Marcelo, James Rodriguez” and after explaining again how “It’s a shame what penalties the Athens teams get“, he told the journalist to become more professional.
Lucescu insisted on the question of penalties, asked for no attacks against PAOK, said that his team was better than Olympiacos, then overheard another journalist asking him for respect, immediately got up and left the room.
