Castillo: “Bad players, Korea produces one good player for every 5 million people and we brought one Korean with us”
Neri Castillo, who was found in Karaiskakis on Monday evening (10/17), made an angry post stressing that Olympiacos now have players who don’t have “courage, passion and personality”.
THE Neri Castillo was at “G. Karaiskakis” and Gate 7 on Monday (17.10.) to follow the big derby between Olympiakos and PAOK (1-2) as a fan.
After the defeat of the Erythroleuken o experienced soccer player was a catapult towards the team’s players and with a post on his personal account on Instagram he declared that Olympiacos exists Players who lack “courage, passion and personality”.
“The problem isn’t the president, it’s not the people, it’s not the referee. The problem is who takes the players to Olympiakos. It’s full of scumbags, players with no guts, no passion, no personality. Where everything, what they do is pass back and pass back. There are players who maybe play in other teams but not at Olympiakos. In our time these players weren’t even substituted on when the score was 4-0.
The coaches come to Olympiacos and play all the way back, waiting for the opponent when Olympiacos is a team that always pushes from the first minute to the last. Korea produces one good player per 5 million people and we got one Korean.
Romania produces one player per 10 million inhabitants and we have Romanians. Cameroon produces one player per 10 million people, and we have one Cameroonian. I can say the same about the Senegalese. Now that the other teams have built up a bit, the quality of our players is showing.
When teams close we don’t have a player to get the ball and score. We don’t have a player saying, “Now it’s a game changer”. I’ve been saying this for a while, it’s the first time I’ve seen 11 players who don’t know how to dribble.
Today I had to write it, I can’t stand this kind of football in the team I love anymore. And don’t tell me I’m saying this because we lost. Anyone who knows me knows very well that I said from the first matchday this year that it would be difficult.
Bigger proof of being 10 points down on matchday 8… there isn’t one. At least the way we play should change starting tomorrow. Let’s go out there and put all the opponents under pressure from the start, otherwise the situation will only get worse.”
