Loutsescu: “I’ve seen so many penalties in favor of the Athens teams, it’s a shame tonight wasn’t awarded in our favour”
Razvan Lucescu called the referee’s decision not to award PAOK the penalty for Ba “shameful” and stressed that even more embarrassing penalties were imposed on teams from Athens.
PAOK defeated Olympiakos 2-1 in Karaiskakis, with Narey’s fireball giving Dikefalos an important three-pointer that climbed to 4th place, overtaking the Red-Whites.
Razvan Lucescu stood on the penalty that his team didn’t get in Ba’s goal and stressed in the final that it’s a shame.
What Lucescu said about the COSMOTE camera:
“It’s a game that went exactly as I expected. We scored goals, we controlled the pace. We made some mistakes, we fell behind, we withstood the pressure from Olympiakos. We won in level in the second half.”
Without wanting to blame any group Too bad we weren’t given the penalty. There were ten times more penalties tonight than in the derby with Panathinaikos. I’ve seen so many penalties awarded specifically for the Athens teams, I’ve also seen other penalties shamefully not given. It’s a real shame for Greek football.”
