PAOK’s humorous post about Treimanis’ decision
Referee Treimanis’ decision to reverse the penalty he awarded in the derby against Olympiacos in favor of PAOK has not left the minds of the Black and Whites, who wanted to embellish them with a humorous tweet.
PAOK pulled off a superb 2-1 away win over Olympiakos to end their Super League matchday eight schedule, but it wasn’t enough to quell their anger at the derby referee.
In particular, for Treimanis’ decision to give a penalty in the second half in favor of the Thessaloniki team (when Oliveira fell by Ba and Tzolakis) and then take it back when he saw the phase on the monitor with the people of Dikefalo made on Monday night (10/17) angry noises but not staying there.
A day later, wanting to follow up the incident with a humorous twist, they posted a photo of the referee (as he overturned his original penalty decision) and Omar El Kaduri smiling next to him on the team’s official Twitter account.
“If he says it’s not a penalty”, was the catchphrase of “Two-Headed” and was accompanied by a laughing emoji.
