OFI – Lamia 0:0: A valuable point for the guests, the Cretans stay below

The game between OFI and Lamia on matchday 9 of the Super League ended in a 0-0 draw. The game was fast paced but neither team found their way into the net. Thus, Lamia got a valuable point and reached eight points. OFI remains low at six, entering the Valdas Dabrauskas era.

OFI got into the game better and even had a good moment in the 12th minute with a Pereas header that went just wide of the target. Fthiotida’s team equalized in the next few minutes and even brought danger into the Cretan space.

In the 18th minute, Nunes met Mandas but sent the ball up. In the 33rd minute, De Vincenti had another good moment when the OFI goalkeeper saved a save. It was 0-0 in the first half.

OFI started strong in the second 45 minutes, but could not threaten significantly. So Lamia took action again and had a very good moment with Manouso in the 56′ and with De Vincenti in the 57′.

The Cretans threatened a Durmisai shot in the 72nd minute, which was blocked by Saranov’s crossbar. The Fthiotida team even made sure to threaten on the counterattack. The game maintained a high pace up to the tempo, however neither team was able to score.
