PAOK: Zivkovic and El Kaduri remain on the pitch, doubtful for the derby with AEK

Given the weaknesses of injured Vieirinia, Brandon, Tsaoussi and Lyratzis and the unprepared Michaelidis, Razvan Lucescu’s interest turns to Andrija Zivkovic and Omar El Kaduri, who remain in doubt ahead of PAOK’s derby against AEK (30.10., 19.30, COSMOTE SPORT 1 HD).

Both stayed outside of the program in today’s practice, followed by the other teammates. And if Zivkovic’s problem has more to do with his pain tolerance, Omar El Kaduri’s is muscular – the Moroccan is uncomfortable with his biceps – it’s more complicated.

However, the Romania coach says he is willing to wait for both of them until the last training session before the derby. The young Ermis Selimai of PAOK B was invited to the training sessions due to the deficiencies encountered at the two ends of the Dikephalos defense.

“Thursday (10/27) was an intense day in the team’s preparation for the game against AEK in the Opap Arena, during which the players also worked on tactics.

The program started with a warm-up, then the players were divided into two groups and dealt with both offensive tactics and defensive behavior. In the last track, we had a high-paced 5v5 tournament.

Andrija Zivkovic stayed in the gym and followed the treatment, as did Lefteris Lyratzis and Marios Tsoushis, Omar El Kaduri conducted the treatment and an individual program, while Brandon Thomas and Andre Vierinia also worked individually.
