Valbuena suffered an adductor contusion
As well as Ba, Mathieu Valbuena, who suffered a bruised adductor, left the Olympiakos game against Lamia with a problem a week before the Leoforos derby.
Olympiacos beat Lamia 2-0 on Matchday 10 of the Super League, a week before the Derby of the Times. However, the red and white had to accept losses.
Notably Valbuena, who came on for Masoura in the 60th minute, picked up an injury just before the final. The Frenchman suffered a right adductor fracture.
Ba suffered a sprain in the opening minutes of his 100th game against Olympiakos. Both footballers will undergo tests to determine the exact extent of their problem. However, they are extremely skeptical about the derby with Panathinaikos.
