Djibril Cisse’s message before the derby with Olympiakos
Djibril Cisse announced via Instagram that he will not be in “Leoforo” for Panathinaikos – Olympiacos. The former French striker expressed his confidence in the Greens’ victory and promised to travel to Athens soon.
Djibril Cisse will ultimately not be able to attend the big derby between Panathinaikos and Olympiakos on Sunday (June 11, 7.30 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 1 HD, LIVE from Sportish) due to professional commitments, as he said in a message on Thursday afternoon (March 11). posted on his personal Instagram account.
The French ex-‘Shamrocks’ superstar stressed that a change of date was not possible as he would be in the Caribbean in the next few days, but promised to travel to Athens soon (to be awarded accordingly by PAE Panathinaikos, as it in all home games since the start of the season), while he seemed confident of victory for the “Greens” in the Greek Clasico.

“Good evening my friends and Panathinaikos friends. I have received many messages asking if I will be on the pitch for the derby. Unfortunately I cannot be there as I will be in the Caribbean.
I tried my best to change the dates but it was not possible. But believe me, I’ll be on the field soon. Hopefully before the end of 2022. As I said, I really wanted to be there, but I couldn’t.
Don’t forget that there is one team in Athens and that is Panathinaikos. Panathinaikos forever: A green love. We’re going to win again this weekend.”
