Makeda underwent ankle surgery and “ran” for the end of the playoffs
Federico Maceda underwent surgery in Italy on Wednesday (16/02) to completely eliminate the problem afflicting his ankle and will be out for around 2.5 months.

The Italian striker is expected to be discharged from hospital today (02/17) and the rehabilitation program will start tomorrow. He will return to Athens in about two weeks while his return to action is estimated at 2 to 2.5 months.
This means that he will lose most of the playoffs and fight with time to be ready for the final games but also for the cup final should Panathinaikos overcome Lamia’s obstacle.
