Makenda: “It was eight difficult months full of pain, I suffered”
Federico Maceda, a day after the surgery he underwent on Wednesday (16/2) for ankle problems, thanked those who supported him with an announcement while also speaking about the difficult period he was suffering from pain.
Panathinaikos will be without Federico Makenda’s services for the next 2.3 months or so as the Italian striker underwent surgery on Wednesday (16/02) to fully resolve the problem plaguing his ankle.
With a post on his personal Instagram account, he wanted to thank everyone who stood by him during this time, but also mentioned how difficult the last eight months have been for him.
“It’s been a difficult eight months, full of pain, suffering, injections and treatments. Unfortunately, my injury turned out to be more serious than I expected because.
Although I tried everything to be okay, the pain, especially on the field, was unbearable and playing in that situation was very difficult and frustrating. So surgery was the only solution.
Thank you all for your support and especially the people who are by my side all the time. “I’m looking forward to recovering as soon as possible to come back stronger than ever at the end of the season!” characteristically wrote in his post.
