Vierinia: “With concentration and no mistakes to win against Aris”
Speaking about the game with Aris, PAOK captain Andre Vierinia emphasized that he and his teammates know what this derby means for fans of both sides
Andre Vierinia has contested many local derbies with Aris in his career (7:30 p.m. NOVASPORTS PRIME, LIVE on Sportish) and knows exactly what his team has to do to win “Kl. Vikelidis” to get away.
Speaking to NOVA, the Dikefalos captain emphasized that PAOK’s goal is to beat Aris and impose his own style of play.
What he said in detail:
For the derby: “We forget Thursday’s game. We have a derby ahead of us which we know is going to be very difficult. Our goal is to go there and play our own football to win it.”
What must PAOK have to win: “We have to be focused. Respect and no fear of the opponent. From there, as always, this derby will be judged in detail. We’ll try to be focused throughout the game to do the least.” Mistakes and wins. That’s the most important. The kids know what this game means not only for us but also for the fans of both teams and we will do our best to win.”
On the change of coach on Mars: “Nothing changes for us. May it be a good derby, a good game and may we be good at getting the three points.”
