Cuesta: “It would be fair to win, I only think about the playoffs”
After Aris’ draw against PAOK, Julian Cuesta stressed that the fair result for the Yellows would be a win.
The derby between Aris and PAOK ended 0-0. After the game ended, Julian Cuesta stated in his statements to NOVA that his team deserved the win while all he had in mind was qualifying for the playoffs.
Cuesta’s statements in detail:
For the game: “We didn’t take the chances we got. I’m sad we didn’t win. Good and a point, but we wanted to win. It would be fair to win, we had three classic chances. Unfortunately we have three lost.” Points. For me it was a quiet game. “In 2-3 cases the ball came towards me, but nothing dangerous.
For the playoffs: “That’s why we needed the win tonight. Now we’re thinking about next Wednesday’s game, just like next week. “All I can think of.”
For Burgos: “Tomorrow we will get a job and our psyche is quite high. We have to win, we have no other options. He has some time to work, but both he and we will do our best for the playoffs.”
