Eliasson returned to action after three months and was adored by AEK fans
Eliasson returned to action in the AEK jersey nearly three months after his injury, coming on as a substitute in the game against Aris and witnessing the apotheosis of the yellow and black fans who flooded the ‘OPAP Arena’.
Eliasson was one of the most influential players for Matias Almeidas AEK in the early months of this season, but misfortune knocked on his door when he was badly injured in an away game against Asteras Tripoli on November 6, 2022.
Since then he has been out of action and cannot provide his valuable services to the Union, but Sunday evening (01/29) was the moment of return and apotheosis.
And that’s because he came on as a substitute against Aris (instead of Amrabad) in Stoiximan Super League match day 20 and the Union crowd made sure to show their love for him with a very hearty ovation.
