Aris coach Alan Pardew, in his statements after his team’s 3-0 loss to AEK, claimed that the Union had more freshness and this played his role in the OPAP Arena game.
Why didn’t the referee shake his hand:
“He shook my hand, we were just talking about the second goal.”
If he is satisfied with his team’s image despite being 3-0 up:
“AEK definitely had more freshness than us. We had the game midweek and couldn’t handle it 100%.”
For the return of Aris and the next games:
“We will have some players available. The most important thing is that we have a difficult period and we have to deal with it.”
On Sunday game night, Pantelis Vlachopoulos analyzes the big AEK Aris derby together with Themis Kaisaris and Charly, while Vangelis Arnautoglou and Manos Navrozidis mediate all developments from the OPAP Arena.
