Carvalho: “Wherever Martins asks me to play, I’ll do my best”
Joao Carvalho, in his statements regarding the Olympiacos game against OFI, stated that he is ready to play where Pedro Martins asks.
Joao Carvalho spoke in front of the NOVA camera with regard to the game Olympiakos vs. OFI (February 27, 7:30 p.m., NOVASPORTS PRIME, LIVE Sportish) at Georgios Karaiskakis for the 25th game of the Super League Interwetten. When asked what his favorite position was, he replied that he wanted to do his best wherever Martins asked him.
Carvalho’s statements in detail:
For his level of readiness: “I am doing very well and the future will be good. I adapted with the team and it was good for me that I played with the second team. My physical condition has improved, but I still have room for improvement. “But I can help the team.”
For the reaction Olympiacos must get: “At Olympiakos you have to win. Whoever wears the Olympiakos jersey plays for victory. We are saddened by the loss against Atalanta, but we will learn from it and we are already preparing for the next game.”
For Karaiskaki: “I’ve already felt the atmosphere from the bench and seen the presence of the fans. I saw how warm they are and how much they love the team. “I’m looking forward to playing in a crowded stadium and wish it was Sunday and they would create a nice atmosphere and support us.”
For the position he likes to playι: “The answer is simple, but the decision is up to the coach. I can play either on the right, left or centre. Wherever the coach asks me, I will do my best to honor my shirt.”
