Ivan Jovanovic explained that the game with AEK was the most difficult of all for Panathinaikos because the greens came from a negative result that doesn’t reflect the level of the team.

Ivan Jovanovic, in his statements to COSMOTE TV immediately after the end of the game between Panathinaikos and AEK in Leoforos, said that this game was the most difficult for the clover, while he believes that the game was judged in the first part, where the managed to create dangerous situations in the heart of the yellow-blacks.

Details of what Ivan Jovanovic said on COSMOTE TV: About the game: So far we’ve played a lot of games and good games where we didn’t get any results. Today was the most difficult game of all because we came from results that weren’t at the level of Panathinaikos.

It was definitely difficult preparation, I want to thank the players for that, because they worked hard for this result. Secondly, thank you to the fans who came to the stadium despite the fact that we have disappointed them many times this year. With their positive energy, they helped us to perform well, play well and get the points we needed“.

What was the game judged for: The game was evaluated in the 1st part, where we managed to create several dangerous situations in defense of AEK with the switch.

In part 2, maybe because of the score, we gave AEK more space, but I think it was generally a good game for the viewer, with a lot of stages and chances. I am pleased that we are on the winning side today. AEK was good, it made a good game.

We were very disciplined and in a good mood. I have stressed in the past that being Panathinaikos in this position is not a pleasant thing at the moment, but we have a duty to fight to the end for the European championship and the institution of the cup.

We must not forget that this is not the year in which we can be proud of our results. We are aware of where we are. I think we can fix some things later in the league“.
