Kargas: “The team was targeted, but so was I personally”
Giannis Kargas told NOVA that PAS Giannina was attacked as well as himself and that he will take legal action against those who threw mud at him.
PAS Giannina leader Giannis Kargas, in his statements immediately after the game with Lamia ended, spoke of targeting the team and himself, stressing that he would take legal action against those who “throw mud, to satisfy some interests”.
Details of what Giannis Kargas told NOVA: “It’s a shame for the whole world that comes and sees us, but also for the players and the team’s agents, that a case that was brought up seven years ago is being tried today.
It’s clear we’ve been targeted as a team but also personally, some that the cleanest Euro they’ve made is what they found below.
I have informed the team and will take legal action against anyone throwing mud to further any interests. “This phenomenon does not only affect football, but a broader social phenomenon.”
