Karypidis: “They put us on a tripod, I believe in Aris and the win against Olympiakos”
Aris President Theodoros Karypidis, in his statement on the team’s official website, stressed that the minimum goal is the play-offs in view of the last game of the regular season in Super League Interwetten against Olympiakos.
Aris are fifth in the table and will meet Olympiakos in the final Super League Interwetten game on Sunday (6/3) to take the points and secure a place in the top six.
Yellows strongman Theodoros Karypidis urged people to support Aris’ efforts in a statement on the team’s official website, stressing that the smallest goal is to find the team in the playoffs.
Details of what Theodoros Karypidis mentions in his statement:
“We have reached the end of the regular season of the championship. Despite the streak of bad luck we had and the bad moments, but also the tripods that were placed on us before the championship started well, we didn’t bow.
On Sunday (March 6th) we face Olympiakos in a crucial game. Everything depends on us. We have to support the players in their fight for victory. Victory that ensures the presence of ARIS in the playoffs.
Of course, this was (and is) the minimum of our goals, but let’s not forget that ARIS has 42 points on grass and is in 3rd place.
But we will talk about this topic in the near future…
The most important thing now on Sunday is to combine all of our strengths with those of the footballers so that victory can come. With our positive energy, our voice, our passion and our pulse, without giving any rights. We can and we will succeed.
I believe in our team, I believe in winning. And I believe that with your support on Sunday we will achieve our goal.
To make the playoffs first and then continue our course towards our next goal.”
