Boto and Lutsescu decide whether to switch to PAOK
A broad meeting of PAOK employees is planned for today, with the participation of Jose Boto and Razvan Lucescu, at which at least the first steps to strengthen Dikefalos will be assessed.
Jose Boto’s presence in Thessaloniki marks the evolution of transfers to PAOK. The new sporting director of Dikefalos, in collaboration with Razvan Lucescu, will decide on the steps to strengthen the team.
In the first place for the Portuguese are the transfers that have to be made to support the roster, which was tested before the Christmas break and is now being tested even more intensely with the coronavirus cases that have occurred.
According to the information, a comprehensive meeting of PAOK executives will take place today (January 5th) in the presence of Boto and Razvan Lutsescu, at which certain cases of football players will be decided.
Razvan Lucescu’s proposals regarding the positions to strengthen his team have not changed and, as everything shows, a channel of communication has been found between the Romanian coach and the new Dikefalos sporting director. An extreme defender, midfielder, and midfielder with the ability to play in the other positions behind the for are the ones the coach believes should be reinforced immediately.
A minimum of three moves will be made, with players soon to join the rotation of the PAOK coach.
It goes without saying that Jose Boto will take care of all open biceps issues (organization of the scouting department, expiring contracts, the Colak case), but at least strengthening the team now seems to be a priority. What the coach and the sports director want and have agreed are the steps that will not be delayed and developments can be expected soon.
