Lucescu: ‘Nobody convinces me it’s a red card, the problem lies with VAR’
Razvan Lucescu, in his statements to COSMOTE, protested that the red card shouldn’t be given to Tsigaras, stressing that the problem lies in VAR.
The game between AEK and PAOK ended in a 1-1 draw. Dikefalos played with ten players from the 19th minute after Tsigaras was sent off. In his statements to COSMOTE TV, Lucescu stressed that nobody could convince him that it was a red card, while mentioning that the problem was in VAR.
Lutsescu’s statements in detail:
Whether he changed his calculation plan: “Playing 75 minutes with ten players is an experience we have to go through. The commitment of my players is enormous.
No one convinces me it’s a red card and the problem is in VAR. The phase happened before me and you never give a red card in this phase, yellow yes. “On TV, you can translate it any way you want.”
For orientation after the red: “In order to stay unbeaten, we manage to take risks at some stages. AEK is a good team and that’s why I’m glad they managed to leave unbeaten with 10 players. “They fell hard at every stage.”
