Bakoyannis: “The Panathinaikos Stadium is absolutely realistic, the best in Greece”

Interview with SKAI 100.3 Costas Bakogiannis with the Mayor of Athens the next day of the municipal council voting the contracts to emphasize that the new stadium of Panathinaikos in Votanikos will be the best in Greece, while the double regeneration at a very high level is good way.

We have, as you know, a very extensive development program that will create two top -local poles, one in the Botanical Garden with an arena -the best stadium in Greece, a stadium from which the Acropolis will be visible- up to 40,000 seats, and at the same time, in Alexandras, we are gaining a “lung” of green, an “oxygen lung” “that can be connected to koundouriotika, in a densely populated area. We are on a very good path.”

Whether the main obstacles have been overcome:

“Now we are going from theory to practice. We have a very high level of security and a very high degree of maturity.
