Atromitos – Volos 2-1: Koulouris guides him to stay
Atromitos, with Koulouris scoring his eleventh goal of the year in the 90th minute, defeated Volos and took five points from Lamia in the fight for survival, while Magnesia’s side were permanently eliminated from the playoffs.
After Koulouris scored for the second time in a row, this time his side’s winning goal prevailed in 90′ against Volos. Atromitos prevailed 2-1 and now looks with more optimism on the eventuality of staying.
Now Peristeri’s team has 23 points after their victories in recent games, while Lamia has 18 and Apollon Smyrnis has 13 points. On the other hand, with its defeat, Volos has left the fall of the playoffs behind.
The game appeared to be going to a tie as the 1-1 remained until the 90′ of the game, but Efthymis Koulouris, the Atromitos team’s first scorer, had not said his last word.
In a corner from Munith’s right, the Greek striker took the lead at the second post, scoring 11 goals this year and 30 in total while wearing Atromitos’ jersey, becoming the first goalscorer in Peristeri’s history. Stephen Napoleoni.
Atromitos is better in the first part
Atromitos started the first half better and showed that it was the team that wanted the win the most. He created chances, scoring with Alibek in the 23rd minute and finally finding the goal that put him ahead in the 26th minute with Denic after a superb pass with a back heel from Nabi who knocked out his fourth teammate in Papadopoulos and won.
The Greek keeper kept the score 1-0 with a saving a little later, however, when he took a corner kick from Alibek, who attempted the shot from the cross as he swiftly stalked Papadopoulos but the young goalkeeper out of the way and back and Ejection shot the ball into the corner.
Volos ended the game in the 37th minute with a Regaten header from inside the small area following a Ferrari cross from the left and a miss by Gianniotis.

Volos went up, Koulouris spoke at the end
In the second half, Volos increased his performance, played better and the entry of Korea helped. With Nini as the main protagonist of their offensive actions, the guests initially threatened in the 60th minute after a nice energy from the Greek international and a parallel ball that was pursued by Mavrommatis.
Then, trusting his foot on both the 74′ and 77′, Ninis intercepted the shot, initially fuzzing the ball, and then saw Gianniotis save.
The best moment of the second half up to that point belonged to Volos as it developed beautifully in 84′ when the Korean shot and Gianniotis saved in a corner.
