A case of coronavirus in Panathinaikos in front of Peristeri
On Friday (April 3rd), a coronavirus case was diagnosed in Panathinaikos, although the infected footballer did not take part in the game against Atromitos (March 6th, 7:00 p.m., NOVASPORTS 2HD, LIVE Sportish).
The coronavirus reappeared in the football department of Panathinaikos just 24 hours before the game with Atromitos in Peristeri (Sunday 03/06, 19:00, NOVASPORTS 2HD, LIVE Sportish), with the people of the “Cloverleaf” taking all necessary measures to limit the spread.
Specifically, in the last 48 hours, a case of Covid-19 has been detected in a Panathinaikos football player during the standardized pre-game checks. The player was isolated in time, with the “Greens” taking all the necessary measures not to offend other members of the team.
The coronavirus-infected player will miss Sunday’s game against Atromitos (for the 26th and final game of the regular season) and is available again for Ivan Jovanovic from next week with a view to the playoffs.
I have been working as a sports journalist for about 6 years now. I currently work as an author at Sportish, which is a sports news website. I mainly cover sports news and I love writing about all aspects of the sport. I also have experience working as a broadcast journalist, so I have some great insights into how sport is reported and presented.
