Giannikis: “We won without playing well, we were looking for our rhythm”
Argyris Giannikis, in his first comment after AEK’s victory over Lamia, claimed that his team got the win without playing well, while also dedicating the win to the memory of Stelios Serafidis.
AEK prevailed 2-0 against Lamia and after the end of the game, Union coach Argyris Giannikis supported the conversation in front of the COSMOTE TV camera in his first comment:
“Happy birthday to everyone in good health, I wish us the end of the pandemic and the entry into a normal reality. We didn’t win with our best performance, with a coronavirus, with defeats it was logical to look for our rhythm and it seemed that we dedicate this victory to Stelios Serafidis.
Regarding the need for AEK to be the intensity it showed towards the end:
