The league board decides on the continuation of the championship
With the Super League Interwetten teams suffering from absenteeism due to consecutive coronavirus cases, the board will meet on Friday to review the application for temporary suspension submitted by four PAE.
Four Super League Interwetten clubs have applied for a temporary suspension of the championship and the board of directors will decide on this on Friday. These are the PAE Apollon Smyrni, Panaitolikos, Atromitos and PAS Giannina, which are badly affected by the coronavirus.
On the same day, the definitions of the games that have already been postponed will be discussed.
As announced by the league “On Friday 7.1.2022 at 1 p.m. the board of the Super League will take place via conference call.
The agenda items are as follows:
1 / Inquiries from PAE Apollon Smyrni, PAE Panaitolikos GFS, PAE Atromitos Athens and PAE PAS Giannina 1966.
2 / Problems defining games that have been / will be postponed due to the pandemic.
3 / Application from PAE AEL.
4 / other.
The convocation takes place with a shortening of the deadline according to § 20 para. 1 of the articles of association of the cooperative because of the extreme urgency of the matters concerned and in particular because of the fact that the acceptance of some of them may affect, among other things, the games (17.) Racing set for the three days 8-10 January 2022“.
