The moving post for the 18 years since losing Giannis Kyrastas
Giannis Kyrastas will never forget Panathinaikos no matter how long it is after his loss and the Greens take to a moving post on social media to celebrate the 18th anniversary of his death.
A full 18 years have passed, but no one from the Panathinaikos family has ever taken Giannis Kyrastas out of their minds and hearts, although the news of his sudden death on April 1, 2004 still seems like an ugly April Fool’s lie.
His offer to the Klee both as a player and as a coach was very great and the Greens wanted to honor his memory on Friday (1/4) via a message from PAE on his official Twitter account:
“18 years now April begins sadly. Giannis Kyrastas died early in life. He has managed to offer a lot to Panathinaikos both as a footballer and as a coach (with two tenures). It will live forever in our memory…”
