The fate of the Super League Interwetten will be decided today by the board of directors

The corona virus affects all teams in the Super League Interwetten, as some of the 14 teams in the league have reported some fewer and some more cases. Some teams were hit harder while two games were postponed for the 16th game (Atromitos – Volos, PAOK – Panaitolikos).

Today (January 7th) at 1:00 p.m. a Board of Directors of the Super League will take place and it will be decided whether the championship will continue or not. Specifically, four teams, Apollon Smyrnis, Panetolikos, Atromitos and PAS Giannina, have applied for the championship to be temporarily suspended.

However, this seems difficult as it pushes the calendar so it is possible to consider changing the current health protocol. The definition of postponed games is also discussed.

It is announced that a Super League board of directors will be held by conference call on Friday 7.1.2022 at 1 p.m.
