Test day at PAOK, who rates the game with AEK
The PAOK footballers are doing a coronavirus detection test today (7/1), which is intended to finally assess the course of the derby with AEK.
The re-examination of the PAOK footballers for coronavirus planned for today will also assess the possibility that Dikefalos will play in the derby with AEK on Sunday (9/1, 19:30, COSMOTE SPORT 1HD, LIVE SPORT 24) in OAKA.
PAOK already has five active cases that were identified in the pre-game control with Panetolikos – which was finally postponed due to the many cases in Agrinio’s team – and if at least 2 more occur, the derby with the Union will be postponed.
If, despite the measures taken, four or more positive players are found, the problem becomes even greater. This is because the protocol also provides for an interruption in training, which already takes place under special conditions and the players are divided into groups.
It should be noted that PAOK had four other cases of footballers appearing in the control that came with the team’s return to training after the Christmas break. Since then, the biceps have been trained with obstacles, which makes Razvan Lucescu’s work incredibly difficult.
The Romanian, who, when the game is finally played with AEK, cannot count on the injured Oliveira, El Kaddouri and the punished Tsuba Akpom, will find out tomorrow which players he will have available and whether these will be enough to finally end with AEK to reach the derby.
Due to the particularly high workload of microbiological laboratories, the results of today’s tests will logically be available tomorrow.
