The championship continues, the protocol is revised
There is no reason to postpone the championship as the Super League Interwetten teams are discussing proposals for a revision of the protocol.
On Friday (January 7th) the board of the Super League discussed the application of Apollon Smyrni, Panetolikos, Atromitos and PAS Giannina to temporarily suspend the championship.
The championship will not be postponed because the calendar is pressed, but the Super League Interwetten teams want to change the situation.
The groups discussed the proposals for the revision of the health protocol in the board, which will be forwarded to the responsible authorities for approval after their completion.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that individual games cannot be postponed due to incidents. We remind you that with the current protocol, there must be seven confirmed cases in the last two tests for a postponement to occur. Until the updated protocol is approved, the protocol valid from November 19th will apply.

“The board of directors unanimously decided to suspend the K15, K17 and K19 Super League infrastructure championships until January 21, 2022. The Super League Interwetten Championship continues as normal.
