The social measures implemented by PAOK will continue. Young footballers from Dikefalus took part in a coastal clean-up of Thessaloniki beach, collecting no less than 26 kilos of rubbish that polluted it.

“There are always opportunities for action and awareness among young people. This time PAOK Academy through PAOK Action and in particular our K15, K16 and K17 footballers carried out a coastal clean-up operation on a beach in Thessaloniki in collaboration with the environmental organization iSea.”

The children were informed about their actions by those responsible for the organization and given instructions on how to clean the coast. In total, more than 26 kg of waste was collected.

The aim of the campaign was, on the one hand, to clean the beach of waste and, on the other hand, to raise awareness among athletes and society about the protection of aquatic ecosystems.

The aquatic environment as a valuable resource should be protected and restored to preserve biodiversity and ensure its vital functions that contribute to a clean, healthy and productive environment.”says the corresponding update from Dikefalos.
