Panathinaikos continues to invest in the quality of the pitch and has purchased five new lighting fixtures to maintain it, meaning they currently cover a third of the pitch.
In addition to the investments made in the football department in recent years, with the purchase of “first line” players, and the strong increase in the budget that increased its competitiveness and made it a protagonist again0, Panathinaikos continues to invest in its infrastructure. , both for the present and the future of the club.

The specific lights were purchased from the leading company in this category, the Dutch SGL, and have the following characteristics:
- They generate heat when needed during extreme weather conditions and speed up turf installation during transitional periods.
- They are linked to a monitoring system of the microclimatic conditions of the pitch in order to make accurate decisions about the management of the pitch using the most modern principles.
- It is LED technology.
- Their frame is made of lightweight aluminum alloy to put less strain on the playing field
- They move remotely controlled to ensure the greatest possible safety for the operators.
