Jovanovic: “Ioannidis will not leave, he will stay with us because he is the future of Panathinaikos and Greek football”
Ivan Jovanovic concluded the PSAPP awards ceremony with a statement after Fotis Ioannidis was named the best Greek player, and the Serb, after congratulating everyone, wanted to emphasize that the Greek striker will remain in the Cloverleaf for many years to come.
Ivan Jovanovic was also at the PSAPP Awards on Monday evening (November 27th) when he was nominated for the title of best coach along with Matias Almeida and Valdas Dabrauskas.
The Serb, who finally saw Almeida emerge as a top player, concluded the PSAPP awards ceremony with a statement after Fotis Ioannidis was named the best Greek footballer of the past season, and the Serb, after congratulating everyone, wanted to jokingly emphasize that The Greek striker will remain in the clover for many years on the occasion of a question from Demis Nikolaidis to Fotis Ioannidis about which league he would like to compete in if he leaves Panathinaikos.
“Congratulations on this great event. It was a fantastic evening with people speaking and he was impressed. Congratulations to everyone, it made sense, you all deserve these awards. It’s a whole year’s worth of work.”
I would also like to agree with Fotis and congratulate his parents on the principles and the way they raised him and say something about Demis when Almeida appeared… he gave him the way to Athens, Pineda fought for the positions, on which he is better and When he left, Fotis said to him: “You will go” (ss laughs). Let me tell him that Fotis will not leave, he will be with us, he is the future of Greek football and Panathinaikos.”
